About this space
The Sunny Cottage is a cozy and sunny house with a spacious terrace upstairs and an internal courtyard on the ground floor where guests can enjoy good times outdoors. The property is a typical Algarve house in the historic center of Faro, built in the 1950s, whose original facade was maintained and its interior was completely remodeled and equipped.
The space
The very pleasant and airy double room, open to the internal patio, has an LCD TV, air conditioning and a safe.
The private bathroom includes free toiletries, a hairdryer and a first aid kit.
The shared living room in the same space has the dining table under a large, bright skylight that floods the space with lots of light. It also has an LCD TV, Hi-Fi sound system capable of connecting iPhone/iPad and MP3 pendrives, and air conditioning. The property offers free internet access.
It has a kitchenette with a washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, ceramic hob, electric oven, refrigerator and microwave, as well as all the other accessories that may be necessary for preparing everyday meals.
The Algarve climate invites outdoor living and, with this in mind, the house was built with a large terrace on the upper floor where there is furniture for sunbathing or relaxing under the refreshing shade of the pergola installed there. The internal courtyard on the ground floor is a very pleasant area to have breakfast outdoors.
Other things to keep in mind
The Sunny Cottage is located in the heart of the old town, just a few minutes from the Arco da Vila Adentro, which brings the great advantage of having all kinds of offers on your doorstep. Restaurants, many of them specializing in regional snacks, bars, monuments, museums and everything else you can imagine in a city with as much history as Faro, are just around the corner, making for a pleasant walk!
The property is located in an area with all public transport very close by, however, if guests come in their own transport, they can park in the parking space reserved for the property (subject to availability) or in the car park in Largo de São Francisco, which is public and free and is just 3 minutes away.

The Sunny Cottage only accepts up to 2 guests; we do not have sofa beds.
The tourist tax will be charged at check-in according to the current rate: from November 1st to February 29th, €1 per person, per night; from March 1st to October 31st, €2 per person, per night.
