Booking Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Free Time Algarve! By making a reservation with us, you agree to the terms and conditions below. Please read carefully before proceeding with your booking.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By making a reservation with Free Time Algarve, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to all the terms and conditions set forth herein. If you do not agree with any of the terms, please do not finalize your booking.

2. Booking Information

• Reservations can be made [online, by phone or by email], depending on your preference.

• The reservation will be confirmed after payment of the total amount or a deposit, as specified at the time of booking.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when making your reservation. Any errors in the information may result in cancellation or delay.

3. Payment

• Payment for the reservation must be made according to the conditions specified at the time of booking.

• Accepted payment methods: Stripe Payment Link/credit card and bank transfer.

• Advance payment or deposit may be required to secure your reservation.

4. Cancellation Policy

• If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us as soon as possible.
• Cancellations may be subject to fees depending on the date of request:
• Cancellation up to 30 days before the reservation date: no fee
• Cancellation between 30 and 7 days: 50% fee
• Cancellation less than 7 days: 100% fee / total amount non-refundable
• In case of no-show, the reservation will be considered canceled and payment will be retained according to the cancellation policy.

• Voucher system:
  • Cancellations less than 30 days before arrival – Possibility to reschedule for another period within one year; if it’s a different time and the price is higher, you only pay the difference.

• Cancellations less than 7 days before arrival – Possibility to reschedule for another period within one year, and you can use 50% of the amount paid to pay for the new reservation.

• Situations beyond the control of the owner and the guest, such as a declared pandemic, will be excluded from this policy.

5. Reservation Changes

• Changes to the reservation (such as changing dates or number of people) can be made up to 7 days in advance, subject to availability.

• Depending on the change, there may be additional fees or partial refunds.

6. No-Show Policy

If the client does not show up at the scheduled time and has not previously informed about the cancellation, the reservation will be considered a “no-show,” and the amount paid will not be refunded.

7. Refunds

• If a reservation is canceled or modified according to the conditions above, the refund will be made according to the cancellation policy.
• In some cases, refunds may be made through the same payment method used for the booking, and if there are any associated costs, these will be deducted from the amount to be refunded.

8. Customer Responsibility

• The customer is responsible for ensuring that all information provided during booking is correct, such as date, time, and number of people.

• The customer is also responsible for any damages caused during the stay or contracted service.

9. Privacy Policy

The collection and use of personal information provided during booking are governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be accessed [here/link to the policy].

10. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to change or update these Booking Terms and Conditions at any time. Any modifications will apply to bookings made after the date of the change.

11. Limitation of Liability

Free Time Algarve, owned by Paulo Lourenço, sole trader with tax identification number PT197133509, is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits or interruptions that may occur during your experience, except in cases of proven negligence.

12. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Portugal and any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Faro.
